Building redevelopment represents a particular challenge for us as architects and engineers, as it involves converting buildings that have previously fulfilled a different function. We have planned, managed and successfully completed many such projects over the years. In every project, we attach particular importance to such aspects as quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to schedules, as well as ensuring that the transition from the building’s original function to its new one is smooth and seamless.
AUDI AG USB Halle A2 and A3
Rebuilding and renovation of the assembly halls
IC-L provides the complete structural and object planning for the rebuilding and renovation of the assembly halls A2 and A3 on AUDI's Ingolstadt factory premises across all work phases of the HOAI. In order to ensure the smooth production of the Audi models, which will continue throughout the entire conversion period, it is essential to adhere to and secure strictly timed schedules. To this end, very intensive coordination rounds were held with the users and the planners of the required conveyor and production technology. The necessary fire protection requirements also had to be adapted to the new floor space divisions and processes and integrated into the existing building.
